If Mark Wells' dream comes to fruition, a flotilla of one hundred or more colorful kayaks will ply the waters of the majestic Hudson River on September 22 to raise funds to help find a cure for mesothelioma. Kayaking4aCure is Mark's mission. Finding a way to help thousands of victims of this rare and deadly form of cancer is his goal.
Mark's vibrant and talented daughter Linda has mesothelioma. Diagnosed at 15, she has had multiple surgeries and constant treatment over the past ten years in an effort to arrest the disease, to ease her pain and to improve her quality of life.
